Get a job and earn the physical therapist salary

I have applied for the position of a physical therapist in the local hospital. I am told that the physical therapist salary is above average and is higher than the salary at the state run hospitals. It is possible this is the case because private hospitals do pay well and provide health benefits too at lower premiums. I am now hoping that I get hired because I do want to be associated with a hospital. Freelancing as a therapist did not work well for me. I was not getting enough assignments and could not afford to have so many hours without work or pay. If I could be employed in a facility, my monthly wages would be fixed; yet regular. This might seem like a poor reason to work in a hospital. But, this makes the most sense as there will always be work to do and my skills will remain used and my pay will be constant.

My dad had an EMT career

My dad had an EMT career when we were growing up and he was never around. He worked a lot of long hours riding around in that ambulance. He would leave before we got up in the morning and he would not get off work until after we were in bed for the night. I mean, I know that his EMT career was what helped us pay the bills all of those years and allowed my parents to put all six of us through college, but it was hard not seeing my dad at all. When I look back at it, I know that he helped a lot of people that were sick or hurt, but it would have been nice to see him more often. There are a lot of things that I would change in my life and I guess I would have wanted my dad to have a career doing something other that being an EMT.
