Ex-flames Ranbir-Deepika pairs up for their upcoming release

Just like Kareena Kapoor, one of the leading female actors of the Indian film industry, Ranbir Kapoor was born into the famous Kapoor family of India too. His parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh were actors. He is the great grandson of actor Prithviraj Kapoor, grandson of actor Raj Kapoor, nephew of Randhir and Rajiv Kapoor, grand nephew of legendary actors Shammi and Shashi Kapoor. He is also the first cousin of the sisters Karisma and Kareena Kapoor. He started his acting career in 2007 with Saawariya. Although his debut film was flop, he managed to win the Filmfare Award for the best male debutant. He has appeared in as many as ten movies as of now. Two of his movies, Barfee and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani are in the filming stages. His well chiseled body and his cute looks have made him the heartthrob of the current generation movie goers.

No sooner had Ranbir started his acting career in the Indian film industry than the buzz was doing the rounds that he was in a committed relationship with girlfriend Deepika Padukone, daughter of Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone. Just like her boyfriend Ranbir, even Deepika made her acting debut in 2007 itself with the film Om Shanti Om. In 2008, both the newcomers went public with their relationship and soon the news about Ranbir-Deepika became the most sought after news stories of Bollywood. But then in 2009, the lovebirds decided to part ways. While Ranbir was linked to his female costars, Deepika was not meant to be left behind too. But now it seems that no love has been lost between these ex-flames. The once upon a time lovebirds Ranbir and Deepika can be seen working together for the second time in their upcoming release Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
