The Perfect Brown Dress for Day or Night

I went shopping a couple of months ago and found the perfect brown dress that I could wear to work or out on a date with my husband. The dark brown dress was strapless with a jacket that has sleeves down to my forearms. The brown dress is made of taffeta and feels like silk against the skin.

I love wearing my new dress as often as possible. It is perfect for work simply by wearing the jacket. They tend to keep the air conditioner at a low level so a jacket helps to keep my arms warm. When I go out in the evening with my husband, I can wear a jacket or leave it at home, because the dress looks great both ways.

I have received many complements on the brown dress since I purchased it. People at work love it, my husband loves it and I love it. The dress is comfortable and I do not have to worry about showing to much shoulder at work or in professional settings. I love the versatility of the dress and the way it looks so different when I put the jacket on or leave it at home. It is like having two dresses in one.

I wore it lunch when I met my best friend the other day and she wanted me to go shopping with her to help her find a brown dress too. We set a shopping date and I think while I am helping her to find a dress, I will look for another brown dress. This one was so successful and great looking that I would like to find another one to do the same. I know there are plenty of brown dresses but I hope finding this dress was not a fluke. Sometimes it seems I can walk in and find something right away that just rocks and other times I cannot locate a thing. I am looking forward to finding another brown dress to add to my closet.
